Dantan New Materials breaks ground on 100ktpy graphite electrode project

Inner Mongolia Dantan New Materials Co., Ltd. officially commenced construction on its 100,000tpy ultra-high power graphite electrode and carbon products project in Horqin Left Wing Middle Banner, Tongliao City. The project has also been formally included in the fixed asset investment statistics, marking a significant step forward in its implementation.
With a total investment of approximately RMB500 million (USD74.14 million), the facility will feature automated production lines capable of producing 100,000tpy of ultra-high power graphite electrode and various carbon products per year. Supporting infrastructure, including warehousing, environmental protection facilities, and utility systems, will also be built alongside the main production units.
Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of RMB1.5 billion (USD222.42 million), contribute annual profits and taxes in the range of RMB50-100 million (USD7.41-14.83 million), and create around 150 stable jobs for the local community.
