Shengyang Group puts 200ktpy stainless steel clad plate project into operation

Shengyang Group recently put into operation both its new cut-to-length production line and the 200,000tpy specialty clad plate project.
The cut-to-length production line integrates edge trimming, slitting, cut to length leveling, and recoiling for stainless steel composite coils. With its intelligent control system, the line can process leveled sheets up to 1,500 mm in width and 16 mm in thickness, while slitting capability reaches up to 12 mm in thickness.
The concurrently launched clad plate project expands capacity and upgrades the group's existing production portfolio. Beyond conventional stainless steel composites such as 304 and 316, the new facility further enables the rolling of high end specialty materials including 2205 and 2507 duplex grades. The hot rolled clad plates cover widths from 1,000 to 1,500 mm and thicknesses from 3 to 16 mm, offering enhanced flexibility for diverse industrial applications.
