China's total imports and exports of goods reached RMB30.13 trillion (USD4.47 trillion) in the first seven months of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%, according to customs statistics. Exports amounted to RMB17.44 trillion (USD2.59 trillion), up 14%, while imports stood at RMB12.69 trillion (USD1.88 trillion), rising 22%.
In July alone, the country's foreign trade value grew 19.2% year-on-year to RMB4.66 trillion (USD690.76 billion). Exports increased by 17.8% to RMB2.71 trillion (USD401.71 billion), and imports rose 21.2% to RMB1.95 trillion (USD289.05 billion).
