Turkey's Ministry approves Kocaer Celik's steel mill project in Aliaga following EIA clearance

Turkey's Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change has granted approval for Kocaer Celik's integrated steel and rolling mill project in the Aliaga district of Izmir, following the completion of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process.
The project, valued at 3.6 billion Turkish lira, encompasses approximately 234,698 square metres of development area. It is designed to achieve an annual production capacity of 1.25 million tonnes of liquid steel, complemented by an additional 500,000 tonnes from a new rolling mill.
