Yindu Mining secures approval for technical upgrade at Bairendaba silver-polymetallic mine

Shengda Resources Co., Ltd. announced on August 6 that its controlled subsidiary, Inner Mongolia Yindu Mining Industry Co., Ltd., has received official approval from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for the 900,000tpy mining technical transformation project at the Bairendaba silver-polymetallic mine. Upon completion of the upgrade, the project will maintain the existing production capacity of 900,000tpy.
As of February 29, 2024, the Bairendaba mining area hosts primary mineral resources (measured, indicated and inferred) totaling 8.034 million tonnes of ore, containing 1,433 tonnes of silver at an average grade of 221.96 g/t, 149,321 tonnes of lead at an average grade of 2.46%, and 294,903 tonnes of zinc at an average grade of 4.10%.
In addition, the associated silver-lead-zinc mineral resources (measured, indicated and inferred) stand at 2.84 million tonnes of ore, with 87 tonnes of silver grading 54.65 g/t, 8,212 tonnes of lead at 0.53%, and 5,842 tonnes of zinc at 0.69%.
