Shandong Tanke New Materials Co., Ltd. recently secured all required regulatory clearances for its "350,000tpy carbon new materials project", including environmental impact assessment, energy assessment, safety assessment, and social stability risk assessment.
The project, backed by a construction investment of RMB222 million (USD32.90 million), occupies a site of 98,385.8 square meters. Once operational, it will produce 350,000 tonnes of carbon blocks annually, which will be widely used in the production of prebaked anodes for primary aluminum smelting.
