Hoa Binh and Pomina Steel partner on 1.2 million-tonne flat steel plant expansion

Vietnam-based construction company Hoa Binh Construction Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with domestic steelmaker Pomina Steel to develop the second phase of Pomina's steel plant at Phu My 1 Industrial Park, the company announced.
Spanning nearly 40,000 square metres, the project will have an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes of high-quality flat steel. Construction is scheduled to commence in early October.
