Haida Ruiyuan plans expansion of lithium-ion battery anode material project

Qingdao Haida Ruiyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has recently unveiled a plan for a major expansion of its lithium ion battery anode material production facility. The project, backed by a total investment of RMB117 million (USD17.33 million), will revitalize existing plant premises through renovation and capacity upgrades.
The expansion project is located east of Liugezhuang Village, Tianzhu Town, Pingdu City, covering a total area of 14,777.5 square meters. The production line will process industrial feedstocks including petroleum coke, needle coke, calcined coke, and pitch through a series of advanced steps such as granulation and high temperature calcination, ultimately yielding synthetic graphite anode materials for lithium batteries. Upon completion, the expanded facility is expected to achieve a production capacity of 80,000tpy of lithium ion battery anode materials and create 152 new jobs.
