Lidao New Energy secures environmental approval for battery aluminum foil project

On July 28, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Wuhe County, Bengbu City, issued an approval for the environmental impact report of the new battery aluminum foil expansion project of Lidao New Energy (Anhui) Co., Ltd., and gave principle approval to the report.
The project is located in the South Urban Industrial Park in Wuhe County, Bengbu, Anhui Province, with a total investment of RMB400 million (USD59.24 million), of which environmental protection investment accounts for RMB2.89 million (USD427,986), representing 0.7% of the total. The project will purchase equipment including aluminum foil rolling mills, slitting machines, precision cutters, oil mist recovery systems, and closed-loop water circulation systems, and will construct new plant buildings such as plant 2 and plant 3 for aluminum foil production. Upon completion, the facility will achieve a production capacity of 50,000tpy of battery aluminum foil.
