Pakistan launches anti-dumping probe into Chinese alu foil imports

Pakistan's National Tariff Commission (NTC) has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Alu Foil-comprising Cold Forming Foil and Tropical Foil-originating in China. The probe was launched in response to a petition filed by domestic manufacturer Zenith Packages Industries (Pvt.) Ltd.
The dumping investigation period covers April 2025 through March 2026, while the injury assessment period spans from April 2023 to March 2026. The products under investigation fall under HS codes 7607.1990 and 7607.2000.
Preliminary determinations are expected to be issued within 60 to 180 days from the date of the official notification.
