Mexico launches second anti-dumping sunset review on steel wire rods from China

Mexico's Ministry of Economy (SE) initiated the second anti-dumping sunset review on steel wire rods originating from China on July 23, 2026. The review was triggered by formal requests filed by domestic producers Deacero and Ternium México.
The dumping investigation covers the period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, while the injury analysis period spans from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2026.
The products under review fall under TIGIE tariff codes 7213.10.01, 7213.20.91, 7213.91.03, 7213.99.99, 7227.10.01, 7227.20.01, and 7227.90.99.
Existing anti-dumping duties will remain in force throughout the duration of the investigation. The official announcement took effect on the day following its publication.
