Yinman Mining suspends underground operation after fatal accident

On July 26, an accident occurred during production and construction work at the underground mining area of Xiwuzhumuqin Banner Yinman Mining Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Xingye Silver & Tin Mining Co., Ltd. The incident took place in Zone 3, at the 750 level, along the west main haulage roadway between sections 19-1 and 25-1. It resulted in one fatality and no injuries.
Following the incident, the company promptly reported to the local emergency management authority in accordance with relevant regulations. The causes of the accident and the specific cause of death are still under investigation and confirmation. The company will fully cooperate in the investigation and subsequent follow-up procedures.
Yinman Mining's primary business involves the mining, processing, and sales of non-ferrous metals including silver, tin, copper, lead, and zinc, with an annual production capacity of 1.65 million tonnes. Because of the accident, the mining area has been suspended, while the concentrator remains in normal operation. At present, there are 350,000 tonnes of ore stockpiled on the surface, which can supply the concentrator for approximately two and a half months. If the mining area cannot resume normal production in the short term, it is not expected to have a significant impact on the company's overall production and operations, nor will it materially and adversely affect the company's future financial performance.
