Capacity replacement plan issued for Jiangxi Taixin Steel

On July 23, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province released the capacity replacement plan of Jiangxi Taixin Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. for public notice. The public notice period runs from July 23, 2026 to August 13, 2026.
The project will be located in Guangfeng District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, and will install a 140-ton electric furnace, with construction scheduled to begin in December 2026 and commissioning planned for June 2028.
As part of the capacity replacement, two 75-ton electric furnaces, equivalent to a total capacity of 110,000tpa, will be dismantled before the new project is completed and reaches operation.
