IEA approved for Yida New Materials' needle coke material technology upgrade project

The Jining Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment has recently issued its final approval for the Environmental Impact Assessment report on Shandong Yida New Materials Co., Ltd.'s needle coke high-precision chemical materials technology upgrade project.
Located within the existing premises of Shandong Yida New Materials' new plant in the Jining Jiaxiang Chemical Industrial Park, the project involves technological modifications to the company's existing needle coke production units and supporting facilities. Upon completion, the project will achieve a production capacity of 100,000tpy of green needle coke, which, after calcination, will yield 70,000tpy of calcined needle coke. The total project investment is approximately RMB22 million (USD3.25 million), of which RMB1 million (USD147,748) is allocated to environmental protection measures.
