On July 2, a groundbreaking ceremony was held in Fuling, Chongqing, for Qingtuo New Materials' 700,000tpy stainless steel cold rolling project, alongside a topping-out ceremony for the Chongqing REPT 30GWh battery project.
The stainless steel cold rolling project, developed by Chongqing Qingtuo New Materials, is expected to commence production in June 2027. Once fully operational, it is projected to generate an annual output value of RMB10 billion (USD1.47 billion).
