Salt Lake Industry posts higher lithium carbonate output and sales in H1

Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. released its performance forecast for the first half of 2026. During the reporting period, the company produced approximately 1.6817 million tonnes of potassium chloride and sold approximately 2.2473 million tonnes. For lithium carbonate, production reached about 49,400 tonnes, with sales of approximately 39,100 tonnes. Driven by higher sales volumes and rising prices year-over-year, the potassium chloride segment delivered significant profit growth. Meanwhile, the commercial production of the 40,000tpy basic lithium salt project boosted lithium carbonate output and sales, with market prices also trending upward, collectively contributing to a substantial improvement in the company's overall performance.
According to the strategic plan of its controlling shareholder, China Salt Lake Group, the group aims to establish production capacities of 10,000,000tpy of potash fertilizer, 200,000tpy of lithium salts, and 30,000tpy of magnesium-based new materials by 2030. Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd., as the core listed platform, is tasked with executing and delivering these industrial expansion initiatives.
