Andrada Mining announced record-breaking production figures from its Uis operation in Namibia on June 29, for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (ending May 31, 2026). The company is capitalizing on strong global prices for tin, a critical component in electronics manufacturing. During Q1 FY2027, Uis produced a record 286 tonnes of contained tin, marking a 20% increase year-over-year, alongside 473 tonnes of tin concentrate (up 16% YoY). This production growth was supported by a 6% increase in ore throughput, which reached 270,069 tonnes compared to 254,745 tonnes in the same period last year.
The company highlighted that the quarter represents a robust commencement to the new fiscal year, driven by the operational success at Uis, encouraging exploration results from the Lithium Ridge project, and a notable processing achievement at the Brandberg West site.
