Huangye Xinye plans 550ktpy primary aluminum capacity swap project

On June 23, the Management Committee of Ganhe Industrial Park in Xining, Qinghai Province, publicly released the plan for Huanghe Xinye Co., Ltd.'s 550,000tpy primary aluminum capacity swap project. The project is scheduled to break ground in July 2027 and commence production in December 2028.
The project will be located in Ganhe Industrial Park in Xining, Qinghai Province and will install 342 units of 600kA electrolytic cells, with construction scheduled to begin in July 2027 and commence production in December 2028.
As part of the capacity replacement, 286 units of 350kA electrolytic cells and 286 units of 400kA electrolytic cells, equivalent to a total capacity of 550,000tpy, will be dismantled after the new project is completed and reaches operation.
