Xinye Special Steel launches 159mm seamless tube intelligent rolling line

Xinye Special Steel officially put into operation its 159mm continuous-rolling intelligent production line for seamless tubes, marking a significant milestone in the company's advancement toward intelligent and large-scale manufacturing of high-end seamless special steel.
The company's technical upgrade and transformation project for seamless special steel represents a total investment of RMB 2 billion, with a focus on building two intelligent continuous-rolling production lines--127mm and 159mm--alongside supporting infrastructure including a 110kV dedicated substation, intelligent inspection systems, and environmental protection facilities.
The 127mm intelligent continuous-rolling line was previously commissioned on February 26, 2026, and has already reached 70% to 80% of its design capacity, with a target of 90% utilization expected by the end of June this year. The launch of the 159mm line further expands the company's production capabilities in large-specification, high-precision, and high-value-added seamless special steel products.
