EU launches anti-dumping probe into steel shelving imports from China

The European Commission initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on June 10, 2026, into bolted and boltless steel shelving systems originating in China. The move follows a petition filed on April 27, 2026, by the European Metal Shelving Manufacturers' Defence Committee.
The scope of the investigation covers shelving units and related components, including steel uprights with flat connection faces and steel beams without welded upright connectors, irrespective of the type of shelving deck used.
The products in question fall under EU Combined Nomenclature (CN) codes ex 9403 20 80 and ex 9403 99 10, with corresponding TARIC codes 9403 20 80 20 and 9403 99 10 20.
The dumping investigation period has been set from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, while the injury assessment period covers January 1, 2022, through to the end of the investigation period.
