Sixth batch of third-round of environmental inspections completes deployment

Approved by the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council, the seven central ecological and environmental inspection teams of the third round's sixth batch were successively deployed to the provinces of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Tibet, and Xinjiang, as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, between May 8 and 9, 2026. The on-site phase of the inspections has now been fully completed.
As of the conclusion of the inspection period on June 9, 2026, the inspection teams had received 34,896 public complaints via calls and letters, of which 27,504 were accepted as valid. After consolidating duplicate reports, a total of 20,154 cases were forwarded to the inspected entities for action. Of these, 12,059 cases have been resolved or substantially resolved.
