India's JSW Steel reports 15% rise in consolidated crude steel output in May 2026

India's JSW Steel Limited achieved a consolidated crude steel output of 2.29 million metric tons in May 2026, a 15% year-on-year increase, according to a company statement released on Tuesday, June 9.
The company attributed the strong production growth to the return to full operations at its Dolvi steel mill and the ramp-up of production at its joint ventures.
Crude steel production from JSW Steel's Indian operations during May 2026 stood at 2.19 million metric tons, also up 15% year-on-year. Meanwhile, JSW Steel Ohio in the United States recorded an output of 95,000 metric tons, compared to 79,000 metric tons in May 2025.
