Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output rises in late May

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 22.78 million tonnes of finished steel in the last eleven days of May, with an average daily output of 2,071,000 tonnes, up by 3.2% from mid-May, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of May, finished steel inventories at major mills were 15.83 million tonnes, a decrease of 2.94 million tonnes, or 15.7%, from mid-May.
