EIA report publicized for Hongli New Materials' spent power battery recycling project

The environmental impact assessment report for Guangdong Hongli New Materials' recycling project targeting anode graphite, laminated aluminum and separators from spent power lithium-ion batteries has been publicly disclosed.
Sited at Dongkeng, Luoyang, Boluo, Huizhou, the project entails total investment of RMB116 million (USD17.16 million), including roughly RMB2.3 million (USD340,000) allocated for environmental protection facilities. It is designed to annually recover 20,000 tons of spent lithium battery anode graphite, 10,000 tons of aluminum-plastic film and another 10,000 tons of battery separators.
