China produced about 1.27 million tonnes of refined copper (copper cathode) in April 2026, up 3.0% YoY, and copper products output increased 0.8% YoY to 2.14 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first four months of 2026, copper cathode production totaled approximately 5.04 million tonnes, rising 7.4% from a year earlier, and copper products output reached 7.79 million tonnes, up 2.5% YoY.
