South Korea imposes temporary AD duties on China's cold-rolled zinc and zinc alloy products

South Korea will impose provisional anti-dumping duties of 22.34% to 33.67% on selected cold-rolled zinc and zinc alloy steel imports from China. The four-month measure, effective from June 12 to October 12, 2026, follows a recommendation by the Korea Trade Commission in April.
The duties target surface-treated cold-rolled products -- including coils, sheets, plates and corrugated forms -- thinner than 4.75 millimetres and clad or coated with zinc, zinc-aluminium or zinc-aluminium-magnesium. Products that are electrolytically plated or coated with zinc, or galvannealed, are excluded. The goods fall under HS codes 7210.41.0000, 7210.49.9010, 7210.49.9090, 7210.61.0000, 7210.70.2000, 7212.30.9010, 7212.30.9090, 7212.40.2000, 7225.92.9091, 7225.92.9099, and 7226.99.3000.
Rates vary by exporter. Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union Co. and affiliates face 22.34%, Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co. and affiliates receive 26.28%, and Winstone Development Ltd. is subject to 33.67%. All other Chinese suppliers will be charged a 25.75% duty.
