Panhua Group to begin metal sheet production in June

Chinese steelmaker Panhua Group Co. Ltd. is set to start operating the first phase of its metal sheet manufacturing plant in Sarangani province by June, according to the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The launch marks the initial operational stage of the company's $1-billion integrated steel complex in Maasim town.
Once fully completed, the three-phase project is expected to produce up to 10 million tonnes of steel products annually, including steel slabs and galvanized steel for both domestic and export markets.
