Sinomine Resource Group Co., Ltd. has officially signed a cooperation agreement for the La Jaya copper mine project in Peru with Peru Jinda Mining Co., Ltd. at the headquarters of Sinomine Resource.
Under the terms of the agreement, Peru Jinda Mining will re-register the mining rights of the La Jaya copper mine located in Peru under a newly established joint venture. The JV is majority-owned by Sinomine Resource, while Peru Jinda Mining will leverage its local operational advantages in Peru. In return, Sinomine Resource will provide financial support, technical expertise and industrial chain resources to jointly advance the development of the copper mine resource. By integrating their respective strengths, both parties aim to boost project development efficiency and achieve sustainable economic benefits and strategic development goals.
Positioned as Sinomine Resource's pioneering project in South America, the La Jaya copper mine will kick off its first-phase exploration at the initial stage to further clarify the distribution and reserves of breccia pipe-type copper resources in the mining area. Based on the exploration results, the company will formulate detailed exploration plans and press ahead with drilling operations simultaneously.
