China's production of ten major nonferrous metals reached 6.94 million tonnes in April 2026, up 2.8% YoY, and the output from January to April totaled 27.45 million tonnes, an increase of 3.3% from the same period last year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to April, China produced 15.33 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up 3.5% YoY, including 3.87 million tonnes in April, up 3.1% YoY.
