Andina Copper announces drilling results for Cobrasco project

Andina Copper Corporation has reported further outstanding intercepts from the Cobrasco copper-molybdenum project in Chocó, Colombia. Drillhole CDH008 was completed to a downhole depth of 652.25 metres and extends the Cobrasco Central Cu-Mo porphyry system to the north and northwest. Near-surface mineralization begins at approximately 52 metres and is hosted by multiple porphyry phases and related magmatic-hydrothermal breccias. The hole returned 272 metres at 0.50% copper and 75 ppm molybdenum from 52 metres, including a higher-grade interval of 152 metres at 0.67% copper and 68 ppm molybdenum from 54 metres. Two additional holes have been completed from the same platform: CDH009 (completed, assays pending) and CDH010 (in progress), with visual sulphide mineralization logged in both. The company continues scout drilling and plans further large step-out holes targeting the northwest and northern extensions of the system.
