Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output rises in late Apr

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 21.55 million tonnes of finished steel in the last ten days of April, with an average daily output of 2,155,000 tonnes, up 7.0% from mid-April, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 15.43 million tonnes, a decrease of 3.2 million tonnes, or 17.2%, from ten days earlier.
