US maintains anti-dumping duties on PC strand imports from 15 countries

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has ruled that the revocation of anti-dumping (AD) duties on prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) from 15 countries would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping. The decision affects exporters in Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the USDOC, Saudi Arabia faces the highest anti-dumping margin at 194.40%, followed by the UAE at 170.65% and South Africa at 155.10%. Other assigned rates include Colombia at 86.09%, Indonesia at 72.28%, Argentina at 60.40%, and Turkey at 53.65%. Margins for European and other regions were set at 30.86% for the Netherlands, 30.58% for Tunisia, 29.72% for Egypt, 26.95% for Malaysia, 23.89% for Taiwan, 19.30% for Ukraine, 19.26% for Italy, and 14.75% for Spain.
The products subject to these duties are PC strand, manufactured from non-stainless, non-galvanized steel wire. They fall under Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7312.10.3010 and 7312.10.3012.
