The UK Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has recommended extending existing anti-dumping (AD) duties on welded tubes and pipes imported from Belarus and China for an additional five years. The proposal, released on April 27, 2026, is based on findings that continued dumping and economic harm to British manufacturers remain likely risks.
The recommended extension would maintain a residual duty of 38.1% for Belarusian exporters and 90.6% for Chinese exporters. These products are critical components in UK heating and plumbing systems.
The review was initiated in January 2026 after an application was received in October 2025. The investigation assessed data from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, with an injury analysis covering the period from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2025.
