Guocheng Mining acquires 100% stake in Zhiyun Copper via auction

Guocheng Mining Co., Ltd. has successfully acquired a 100% equity stake in Jinping Zhiyun Copper Co., Ltd. through a public auction, with a transaction value of approximately RMB365 million (USD53.45 million), as part of efforts to expand its mineral resource base.
Zhiyun Copper holds the mining rights for the Laohuchong copper mine in Jinping County, operated by Honghe Mining Co., Ltd., as well as exploration rights for the Lianhuatan-Wuguitan copper project and the Dagouhe copper project in Hekou County, Yunnan Province.
According to exploration reports, the Laohuchong deposit holds 15.39 million tonnes of ore, containing approximately 158,500 tonnes of copper at an average grade of 1.03%. The Lianhuatan-Wuguitan (Laoxinjie-Reshuitang) project hosts 80.47 million tonnes of ore, containing 415,000 tonnes of copper at an average grade of 0.52%. No resource estimate has yet been disclosed for the Dagouhe project.
