Gansu Hailiang to invest RMB5.05 billion in copper foil project

Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Gansu Hailiang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., plans to invest RMB5.05 billion (USD732 million) to build a 67,500 tpa electrolytic copper foil production line in Zhuji, Zhejiang.
The project will be implemented by a newly established wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Hailiang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., and will be developed in three phases over an estimated period of 60 months. Phase I is designed with a capacity of 17,500 tonnes, Phase II 32,500 tonnes, and Phase III 17,500 tonnes. Construction of Phase I is scheduled to commence in July 2026.
