Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output rises 7.5% in mid-Mar

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 19.84 million tonnes of finished steel during the second ten-day period of March, with the daily average output of 1,984,000 tonnes, up 7.5% from early March, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 17.91 million tonnes, an increase of 100,000 tonnes, or 0.6%, from ten days ago.
