Zijin Mining reports steady growth in core mineral output

Zijin Mining Group Company Limited reported robust financial and operational performance for 2025, with revenue rising 15% YoY to RMB349.1 billion (USD50.52 million), supported by steady growth in output of core mined products.
In 2025, the company's gold production reached 90 tonnes, up 23% from a year earlier, while mined copper output increased 2% YoY to 1.09 million tonnes, exceeding the one-million-tonne mark for the third consecutive year. Lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) output totaled 25,500 tonnes, marking the achievement of scaled production.
Zinc and lead output declined during the year, with mined zinc down 12% YoY to 360,000 tonnes and mined lead falling 8% YoY to 41,000 tonnes. In contrast, molybdenum production rose 24% YoY to 11,500 tonnes.
The company maintains a strong resource base, with attributable resources exceeding 4,600 tonnes of gold, approximately 110 million tonnes of copper, over 12 million tonnes of zinc (lead), more than 18 million tonnes of LCE, and around 5 million tonnes of molybdenum.
Looking ahead, Zijin Mining has set higher production targets for 2026, including 105 tonnes of gold, 1.2 million tonnes of copper, 400,000 tonnes of zinc (lead), 120,000 tonnes of LCE, 15,000 tonnes of molybdenum, and 520 tonnes of silver.
