Nanjing Yunhai Metal Trading Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baowu Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd., reported magnesium alloy sales of over 4,400 tonnes in January 2026, setting a new monthly record.
The company said it will continue to promote the lightweight application of magnesium alloys, strengthen industrial chain coordination and supply chain integration, and improve operational efficiency. In 2026, Yunhai Trading also plans to expand its ore export business and deepen cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.
Leveraging the integrated industrial chain of Baowu Magnesium, the company aims to further expand magnesium alloy applications in high-end sectors such as new energy vehicles and aerospace, while exploring exports of magnesium-based new materials to support the green and sustainable development of the magnesium industry.
