Qinghai Jinrui Mining Development Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Chongqing Kinglong Fine Strontium Chemical Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Kinglong New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., have resumed production after completing scheduled maintenance.
The two subsidiaries suspended operations from January 5, 2026 for a comprehensive overhaul of production systems and equipment, with the maintenance period lasting no more than 60 days. The annual maintenance has now been completed, and all production facilities have resumed stable operations.
During the shutdown, maintenance, upgrades and commissioning were carried out on key production systems including rotary kilns, leaching, drying and packaging, and reaction units, as well as core equipment such as brick-making lines, tunnel kilns and pelletizing systems.
Kinglong Strontium Chemical has an annual capacity of more than 30,000 tonnes, including 20,000 tonnes of industrial-grade strontium carbonate, 8,000 tonnes of electronic-grade strontium carbonate and 1,000 tonnes of high-purity strontium carbonate. Kinglong New Materials mainly produces strontium metal and aluminum-strontium master alloys, with annual capacities of 2,000 tonnes and 5,000 tonnes, respectively.
