Major Chinese steel mills' daily finished steel output jumps in late Feb

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 16.89 million tonnes of finished steel during the final eight days of February, with the daily average output of 2,111,000 tonnes, up 11.0% from mid-February, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 17.34 million tonnes, a decrease of 780,000 tonnes, or 4.3%, from mid-February.
