Bosai Damei launches trial production at high-alumina clinker project

On February 26, Chongqing Damei New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Bosai Group, started trial production at its high-alumina clinker project.
The project, with a total investment of RMB1.3 billion (USD189 million), covers 218 Mu (around 14.5 hectares) and is designed to produce 400,000tpa of high-alumina clinker. Development is being carried out in phases, with the first 200,000tpa production line completed in the second half of 2025.
Ore for the project is sourced from Bosai Group's own mines in Guyana. The resulting clinker features slight expansion properties, helping refractory linings better resist slag penetration and erosion, reduce cracking, and extend service life.
