High-precision battery aluminum foil project starts operations in Nanning

On February 25, Nanning Industrial Investment Xinglv New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Aluminum-based New Materials Group under Nanning Industrial Investment Group, began production at its new project with annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes of battery aluminum foil and 70,000 tonnes of can-end tab stock.
The project is expected to reach full operation by the end of June 2026, with 12 aluminum foil rolling mills installed, forming annual capacity of 170,000 tonnes of high-end aluminum foil.
Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate more than RMB5 billion (USD731 million) in annual sales revenue and support Nanning City in developing a trillion-yuan aluminum deep-processing industry cluster.
