Wenzhou Hongfeng plans placement to expand copper foil capacity

Wenzhou Hongfeng Electrical Alloy Co., Ltd. plans to raise up to RMB450 million (USD65.25 million) through a private placement to fund copper foil expansion projects.
After deducting issuance expenses, the proceeds will be used for a lithium battery copper foil and electronic copper foil capacity expansion project, as well as a semiconductor etching lead frame project.
Of the total, RMB280 million (USD40.6 million) will be invested in the copper foil expansion project, which will be implemented by Zhejiang Hongfeng Copper Foil Co., Ltd. The project will build six lithium battery copper foil production lines and two electronic copper foil production lines. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate annual sales revenue of around RMB1.26 billion (USD183 million).
Currently, Wenzhou Hongfeng has copper foil production capacity of 10,000 tonnes per year.
