Xuhuan Aluminum plans 50ktpa recycled aluminum expansion project

Jiangxi Xuhuan Aluminum Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB143 million (USD20.57 million) in a recycled aluminum expansion project with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes at the Fengxin High-Tech Industrial Park in Jiangxi Province. The project's environmental impact assessment has been recently accepted by the provincial ecology and environment authority.
The project will mainly use aluminum scrap, including industrial aluminum waste, scrap aluminum sheets, end-of-life aluminum alloys, and construction aluminum waste, as feedstock to produce aluminum bars, through processes such as pretreatment, melting, refining, and casting, with some of the output further processed into aluminum products for industrial and construction applications.
