On January 28, Jiangsu Dejing Pipeline System Technology Co., Ltd. began construction of its Phase II bimetallic composite pipe project at Qingshan (Jingjiang) Stainless Steel Industrial Park.
The Phase II project, with a total investment of RMB500 million (USD71.97 million), will add 33,000 sq.m of production facilities and 80 units of advanced equipment with digitalized management systems. Once completed, it is expected to produce 50,000 tonnes of bimetallic composite pipes, fittings, and stainless steel pipe products annually.
The second phase will focus on the development and manufacture of corrosion-resistant, high-strength, and lightweight bimetallic composite pipes, targeting demand from shipbuilding, petrochemicals, as well as new energy, aerospace, and marine equipment sectors. Phase I, with annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes of high-quality metal products, has already been put into operation.
