China produced about 1.33 million tonnes of refined copper (copper cathode) in December 2025, up 9.1% YoY, while copper products output decreased 3.4% YoY to 2.23 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In 2025, copper cathode production totaled approximately 14.72 million tonnes, rising 10.4% from a year earlier, and copper products output reached 24.81 million tonnes, up 4.7% YoY.
