Huade Xinxinze plans HC ferrochrome capacity swap project

On January 19, the Ulanqab Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology released a public notice on the capacity swap plan by Huade Xinxinze Alloy Smelting Co., Ltd. to convert its two 33,000 KVA silicon manganese submerged arc furnaces to high-carbon ferrochrome production, along with supporting technical upgrades.
The plan involves 130,000 tonnes per year of high-carbon ferrochrome capacity. Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2026, with commissioning expected in December 2026.
