China's production of ten major nonferrous metals reached 7.21 million tonnes in December 2025, up 4.9% YoY, and the output from January to December totaled 81.75 million tonnes, an increase of 3.9% from the same period last year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
During the year, China produced 45.02 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up 2.4% from the prior year, including 3.87 million tonnes in December, up 3.0% YoY.
