Yibin Tianyuan Haifeng Hetai Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tianyuan Group, plans to invest RMB185 million (USD26.22 million) to upgrade and automate its Phase I and II titanium dioxide production lines and associated facilities. The three-year project will be carried out in phases and aims to boost capacity and efficiency while reducing energy use.
Haifeng Hetai mainly produces chloride-process titanium dioxide and iron phosphate. Its titanium dioxide facilities have been in operation since 2019 and have become an important profit driver in recent years. The upgrade will further improve the company's operating performance and the level of intelligent manufacturing.
