Baise Industrial Investment commissions antimony project and delivers first shipment

Guangxi Baise Industrial Investment and Development Group Co., Ltd. has officially commenced production at its antimony-based new materials project and completed its first delivery. On November 21, Baijin Resources, a subsidiary of the Group, shipped 66 tonnes of antimony trioxide 99.8%min subject to national standard, generating RMB9.44 million (USD1.34 million) in sales.
The project is part of the Group's effort to fully commission its antimony mine rehabilitation and development program this year. Baijin Resources' sodium antimonate and antimony oxide plant began trial operations in mid-October and secured its first order just weeks later. The plant's first-phase investment totals RMB350 million (USD49.51 million) and, once fully ramped up, will have an annual production capacity of 12,000 tonnes of antimony-based new materials, with expected annual sales of RMB1.3 billion (USD184 million) and nearly 400 new jobs.
